What it's for
Balance is doTERRA's foundational grounding blend — a quiet, composed formula built around spruce, rosewood, frankincense, and blue tansy. Unlike more stimulating or emotionally complex blends, Balance has a singular purpose: to establish a steady, calm foundation. It is most commonly used at the start of a day, before a meditation or yoga practice, or in any moment that calls for a return to centre. Apply it to the soles of the feet and breathe.

Spruce
Grounding, evergreen, and slightly sweet; associated with steadiness and support.
Ho Wood
Rich in linalool; calm, soft, and centering — a gentle anchor.
Frankincense
Sacred and grounding; supports presence and spiritual depth.
Blue Tansy
The blue-toned oil with chamazulene; calming and soothing, adds complexity to the grounding profile.
