History & Culture

Vetiver has been used in India and South Asia for over 3,000 years. Known as "the oil of tranquility" in Sri Lanka and India. The roots were traditionally woven into mats and fans to cool homes during summer — releasing its calming aroma. It has long been one of the most important base notes in fine perfumery.

Vetiver represents rootedness and grounding. Supports those who feel unmoored, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Encourages deep stillness, self-awareness, and presence in the body.
