Beyond $500/month, the compensation model begins to shift in your favour. The Unilevel commission structure pays up to seven levels deep — which means activity three or four levels below you, from people you have never met, begins to contribute to your income. This is where the pipe metaphor becomes real: the pipes you laid in year one are now flowing.
You are doing most of the work — sharing, enrolling, educating. Income is mostly Fast Start.
Your first wave of leaders are enrolling and building. Unilevel starts to grow. Income becomes more predictable.
Depth compounds. Leaders you invested in are now investing in their own teams. Income continues to grow with less direct effort from you.
At this stage, your job is no longer to enroll — it is to develop leaders. The builders in your second and third level need investment, recognition, and guidance. Every hour spent developing a leader in your second level is worth more than ten hours of personal sharing.
$1,000–2,000/month typically requires 24–36 months of consistent effort and a team with genuine depth — at least two or three levels of active builders. Full-time income ($3,000–$5,000/month) is a multi-year journey and is not guaranteed.
Income results vary. Most Wellness Advocates earn little or nothing from the business. Building a doTERRA income requires sustained effort over multiple years.
